 Many of our projects and programs are supported by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) and the PNGAus Partnership. MSI Asia Pacific also receives funding from a diverse group of bilateral and multilateral development agencies, trusts, foundations and the Australian community.

Accreditation

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)

MSI Asia Pacific has been granted full accreditation from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and is eligible for funding under the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP). 

The accreditation process aims to provide the Department and the Australian public with confidence that the Australian Government is funding professional, well managed, community- based organisations that are capable of delivering quality development outcomes.

Australian Council for International Development (ACFID)

The Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) unites Australia’s non-government aid and international development organisations to strengthen their collective impact against poverty. 

The ACFID Code of Conduct, to which members are bound, aims to improve the outcomes of international aid and development efforts, and to increase trust in the sector by enhancing the transparency and accountability of signatory organisations. 

MSI Asia Pacific is a certified member of ACFID.
